cute, but not boucle Oct 02, 2005 I have a pink boucle peacoat, and thought it would be precious to get my baby a matching sweater. When it arrived, I was diappointed to find that it isn't actually boucle. The package says "boucle-style". I think a more accurate description would be "fuzzy chenille" (like those fuzzy slipper socks they sell everywhere). The sweater is very cute though, and fits my pup very well. I got the XS which says up to 8". My dog is actually 9" long and I would not want the bigger size. I guess it just depends on how you want the sweater to fit. It has a turtleneck that you can roll down (the pic looks a little strange), and it has straps that go around the back legs to keep the sweater in place (I don't think you have to use them if you don't want to). After getting over my initial boucle disappointment, I'm very happy w/this sweater.
