4Outward Bound Jacks  Jul 25, 2008
We just said goodbye to our SUV and needed to replace wire crates in order to contain two jumpin' Jacks in a significantly smaller sedan. Since they LOVE to be up and at eye level with the windows, and also need to be in separate spaces, these seats sounded perfect. And, I think they are, for the most part.

There are two design details that need attention. One, the short lead that connects to the harness tore off the seat when one of our Jacks was trying to escape his "throne." On both seats we found that the adjustable strap that loops around the headrest and snugs the seat up tends to gradually loosen causing the front to droop down and enabling them both to step over rather easily. If you have a tranquil dog that will sit quietly in place, go for it. I am still happy, for the most part, and will be taking the one seat to see if a heavy-duty sewing machine can reattach the lead. As for the sliding straps, I might try to sew those in a permanent position, too.

If I could presume the opinion of our seat users, I think they were comfortable, enjoyed not sliding around inside a crate on twists and turns in the road, and particularly enjoyed not being quite so "away" from us.

4Dog Heaven  Aug 18, 2006
My mini Doxie is crazy about this thing. It's changed her life. Now she runs for the car everytime I get my keys. She would leave food for ride in the car! It's created a monster! It is pretty easy to use & adjust to fit whatever your car seat is like. My only criticism would be that the air cushion looses air and you have to blow it back up fairly often to keep a stable "seat" and it's a bit hard to blow? or Maybe I'm just out of shape.

5Wonderful Dog Car Seat  Jun 30, 2006
This company makes the best animal product in the world, bar none and this new seat is an example. I owned the smaller dog seat and got this larger seat as soon as it was available. My dog outgrew the first one. Dog loves it....
