Fantastic Kitten Toy Dec 21, 2007 I gave this to my 6 month old kitten yesterday when I got home from work. He absolutely loved it. As soon as I put it on the ground he was batting the ball around the circle. He didn't even give me a chance to put Catnip in the center part for him. He played for 20 minutes and then I left to go to the store. When I got home an hour later he was still playing with it! I have never seen him take to a toy so quickly or remain interested in one for more than 5 minutes. I will have to buy another one of these and maybe some replacement flashy balls. I just know while I am away at work all day he will wear himself out playing with this. At least I know he isn't bored anymore when he is home alone.
Cats love it! Sep 03, 2007 Same as the previous review, this toy is ideal for cats who love to chase balls. One of my cats can't leave this thing alone and i have to put it away at night or I'll hear the ball whizzing around and around for hours. The other prefers to watch and scratch the center. I've had this item for a month or so and the batteries are still going. The ball's light is motion activated so it doesn't use the battery if the cats aren't playing with it.
Keeps kitty and you entertained for hours on end Jul 08, 2007 This toy is ideal for cats who love to chase balls. I have 3 cats, one cat is mezmerized by the blinking ball and it just drives him crazy as he spins it round and round! The other cats love the feel of scratching area more and will rub and roll around it, especially with catnip on it. The blinking ball has kitty appeal but I'm not sure how long the battery in it will last, I'd like to get more of the blinky balls for my cat.
